How does toy2life work?

Our smart pin transforms your child’s favorite toy into a magical companion that can talk, tell stories, and spark creativity. Imagine your child’s teddy bear or action figure coming to life with engaging conversations and fun, educational stories! Kids can simply wake it up with a button and then talk to it naturally for fun and interactive play. After the conversation is over, the device powers down and stops listening.

Parents stay in Control. We believe that transparency and security are a core part of the product. That is why our parental control app allows you to monitor and influence the AI's interaction with your child, giving you full control over their experience.

Who are we?

We’re Soli & Jeffry, founders of toy2life, a Berlin-based startup fueled by our passion for safe AI, storytelling, and creating magical experiences for kids. Coming from large families, we’ve always been surrounded by children, inspiring us to build products that blend imagination, technology, and trust.

How is my child's data protected?

We take data privacy seriously. We never store your child's data without clear consent, and you can delete all data with a single click in the parental control app. The data that is stored is in the EU and visible to you via the parental control app.

How does the toy handle tricky questions?

We believe parents should always have the final say on cultural preferences and values in their homes—not us, and certainly not the AI. Through the toy2life app, parents can define their preferences clearly, ensuring the AI’s responses reflect those choices. If the toy encounters a tricky question that hasn’t been explicitly addressed, it gently encourages the child to speak directly with a trusted adult.
